I’ve kept putting off coming to a Ruby’s on my own, and nearly didn’t come last night even though I’d got a ticket – but I am very glad that I did.
Many thanks to all of the lovely, and patient , partners who took the time to dance with me, to Lucy who introduced me to other ladies going unaccompanied at the class on Thursday, to the dancers who kept helpfully pointing in the right direction during the strolls, and to Matt, who persuaded me people would dance with me, and took the time to say hello to me when I arrived.
You have attracted such a truly lovely group of people to Surrey Jive. I’m sure you’re told this time and again, but you should be so proud of having taken something you love and done so much positively with it – in awe!
