Yes, it really is the Legendary Darrel Higham & The Enforcers at Ruby’s!

We cannot overstate how important and influential Darrel Higham has been and still is to the Rock n’ Roll and Rockabilly music scene. The word is often overused but he really is a legend and we are so excited to have him perform for us at Ruby’s! Darrel toured the USA and recorded with Eddie Cochran’s original backing band ‘The Kelly Four.’ He played lead guitar in the West End production Elvis, recorded 2 albums with the Stray Cats drummer, Slim Jim Phantom, and played guitar for Sir Paul McCartney, Bono, Shakin Stevens, Jools Holland and many more. Please don’t miss him because it will be one hell of a night!

In between sets Shakin Shep (Surrey Jive’s resident DJ) will be playing from his huge collection of ‘Red Hot and Blue’ floor fillers that include RnB, Rock n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Jump Jive. So, don’t forget to say you heard it first at Ruby’s ‘The Home of Happy Feet.’

Our dances are well attended, and you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere to greet you. Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall, Woodfield Lane, Ashtead, Surrey, KT21 2BE has a large sprung dance floor, licensed bar and large free car park. The hall is situated close to the M25.

Tickets are £13.00 per person, and they can be purchased in advance via a link that will be posted here nearer to the event. Should there be any tickets remaining these will be sold on the door at the same price but please book early to avoid being disappointed.
