From the streets of London to Las Vegas – one of the biggest names on the jive scene is coming to Ruby’s…. Yes, it’s ‘Mr Dynamo’ himself – Si Cranstoun!

Every so often we have a unique opportunity to bring someone very special to Ruby’s, and Si Cranstoun certainly fits that description. Si has become one of the most recognisable and successful performers on the vintage, Rock ’n’ Roll and jive scenes, both nationally and internationally. Renowned for his infectious energy, distinctive voice, and ability to keep a dance floor moving, he remains a firm favourite with audiences.

After performing with his brother in their incredibly successful band ‘The Dualers,’ Si concentrated on the vintage sounds that would establish him as a major attraction on the jive and Rock ’n’ Roll circuit. His solo career moved to another level when he was signed to Warner Records in 2013. His 2014 album Modern Life subsequently reached No.30 in the UK Albums Chart. Jive songs like Dynamo, Coupe De Ville, Vegas Baby and Old School, continue to pack dancefloors to this day. But to fully appreciate his talents, you must see him live. He’s a natural showman, energetic, charismatic and seemingly incapable of standing still! Backed by his talented band, you can expect some sensationally hot music, unmistakable Si Cranstoun energy, and one seriously exciting night at Ruby’s! Please don’t miss him…

In between sets Shakin Shep (Surrey Jive’s resident DJ) will be playing from his huge collection of floor fillers that include, RnB, Rock n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Jump Jive.
