All Aboard….. The Mystery Train Riders are heading to Ruby’s, and this is one journey you won’t want to miss!

This high energy trio from the North-East are one of the most exciting new bands on the Rock ’n’ Roll scene, and we are delighted to be able to welcome them to Ruby’s.

With growing confidence and self-assurance on stage, other bands and promoters are starting to take notice. These guys have already notched up an appearance at Hemsby Rock n’ Roll Weekender, one of the established events on the Rock n’ Roll calendar. At ‘Hot Rock and Boogie,’ they were asked to play the Boogie Lounge, where they performed to a packed house. Such was their electrifying performance, they were invited back in 2026, only this time to appear on the main stage. This gives an indication of just how meteoric their reputation has grown. The Betajive Review describes them as “Going from strength to strength.”

If you like your Rock ’n’ Roll young, energetic, authentic and above all danceable, please make sure you’re there.

In between sets Shakin Shep (Surrey Jive’s resident DJ) will be playing from his huge collection of RnB, Rock n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Jump Jive floor fillers. 

Our dances are well attended, and you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere to greet you. Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall has a large sprung dance floor, licensed bar and large free car park. The hall is situated close to the M25.

Tickets are £14.00 per person, and they can be purchased in advance via a link that will be posted here nearer to the event. Should there be any tickets remaining these will be sold on the door at the same price but please book early to avoid being disappointed as our events often sell out.
