A Rock n’ Roll pedigree that speaks for itself – and a night made for dancing!

Ruby’s is delighted to welcome Pete Vengeance & The Rockin Shados for a night of authentic, hard-driving Rock ’n’ Roll.

Pete is certainly no newcomer to the Rock ’n’ Roll scene. His recording résumé includes The All New Oh Boy Show, a 20-track album inspired by Jack Good’s legendary ‘Oh Boy!’television show, and the music of 1958 on Foot Tapping Records.  Now, backed by The Rockin Shados, Pete brings that experience to the Ruby’s stage. You can expect an evening firmly rooted in the sound and spirit of 1950s Rock ’n’ Roll — energetic, authentic and, most importantly for us at Ruby’s, music you’ll want to dance to. So, whether you’re a dedicated jiver or simply love the excitement of live Rock ’n’ Roll, this promises to be another amazing night at Ruby’s.

In between sets Shakin Shep (Surrey Jive’s resident DJ) will be playing from his huge collection of floor fillers that include RnB, Rock n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Jump Jive.

Our dances are well attended, and you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere to greet you. Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall has a large sprung dance floor, licensed bar and large free car park. The hall is situated close to the M25.

Tickets are £16.00 per person, and they can be purchased in advance via a link that will be posted here nearer to the event. Should there be any tickets remaining these will be sold on the door at the same price but please book early to avoid being disappointed as our events often sell out.

Thank you very much for looking and we hope to see you on the dance floor at ‘The Home of Happy Feet!’
