‘The Jumpsters – Surrey’s finest Jump Jive Band are coming to Ruby’s!

Seven musicians, one red-hot sound and a dance floor that won’t stop moving.

2027 is going to be the year of the ‘Big Bands’ at Ruby’s and ‘The Jumpster’s have a larger than usual line-up, giving them a unique sound that is lively, infectious, and high energy from the very first number. This band understands the dancers and their red-hot mix of Jump Jive and Rock ’n’ Roll, will make sitting down increasingly difficult. Make sure you bring your dance shoes because you are going to need them!

And the music doesn’t stop when the band takes a break. In between sets, Shakin Shep, (Surrey Jive’s resident DJ), will be keeping the dance floor buzzing, with a great selection of RnB, Rock ’n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Jump Jive floor fillers.

Our dances are well attended, and you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere to greet you. Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall has a large sprung dance floor, licensed bar and large free car park. The hall is situated close to the M25.

Tickets are £16.00 per person, and they can be purchased in advance via a link that will be posted here nearer to the event. Should there be any tickets remaining these will be sold on the door at the same price but please book early to avoid being disappointed as our events regularly sell out.

Thank you very much for looking and we hope to see you on the dance floor at ‘The Home of Happy Feet!
