Ruby’s is going NEW Country for one evening!

At Surrey Jive we share a love for NEW country music, and wanted an opportunity to showcase this wonderful music, and the talented artists who perform it. What better time to do this than to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of American Independence!

We may be diversifying, but we believe we are staying true to our roots. Rock n’ Roll music is after all, a fusion of R&B and Country music, and you can both JIVE and STROLL to it. This is a brand-new chapter for Surrey Jive, so why not say you were there from the beginning!

Rather than blend the music played at Ruby’s, we thought it fair to keep the two genres separate and cater for all. The evening will have a western theme, and the hall will be decorated to reflect this. Whilst we encourage you to bring out your more flamboyant side, and don your jeans, and cowboy hat, this is not a requirement. It is your company that matters most. You do not have to have attended our classes, workshops, or dances to attend. There will be a prize for the best dressed.

There is no band, but DJ Shakin Shep will be ensuring he keeps the dance floor busy, playing hits by Luke Combs, Brooks and Dunn, The Mavericks, Cody Johson and many more….. Our commitment to you, will be an unforgettable evening filled with smiles and laughter.

Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall has a large dance floor ready made for jiving and line dancing. It has a licensed saloon, and AMERICAN FOOD will be available at an additional cost. There is also plenty of free parking for your pickups.

Whether you’re a lifelong country fan, or just curious to try something new, this is your chance to be a part of something special. Join the party and watch the dance floor come alive!

Tickets are £11.00 per person and can be purchased in advance.

Should there be any tickets remaining, these will be sold on the door at the same price, but please book early to avoid being disappointed, as our events often sell out.
